Happy Holidays

In the spirit of holiday cheer, I wrote (attempted to write) a holiday poem just your you :-)

With the best intentions I sincerely wish you happy holidays and a wonderful New Year.

‘Twas the night after Christmas and all could be heard
Was a whimper who toils in awful despair.
The night seemed gray, with darkness and fear,
Fear that our feelings would shed us a tear

When what should I see but a prancer come near.
With a sprinkle of mindfulness and sparkle of cheer.
Came the good news that I should change my mind’s gear
Thinking of gratefulness, well that’s the way to start a new year.

A heavy heart lightened, with such magic intervention,
I formed a desire to strive for sincere and honest intention.
To care for myself as I know I can attain
A state of health worthy of such honored campaign.

To care for your body is the best advice I bestow.
Mind follows healthy body, is the concept to know.
So on workouts, on pep-talks, on fixin’ vigorous meals,
Now dash away, dash away sadness and thrills.

With a twinkle in the eye I wish to you all
A very Merry Christmas, and to all
A wonderful and great New Year.
